Role Overview:
The candidate in this position will be responsible for software design, development, testing, and related Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) activities. The Engineer will have to work collaboratively with Product and Program Management, Engineers, Business Stakeholders, and Marketing Team members in Ecommerce and other groups in McAfee.
This is a remote position in India. We will only consider candidates currently in India and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.
About the role:
- Perform SDLC activities on eCommerce products and solutions. should be able to review requirements, analyse problems, and implement solutions.
- Review Requirements and adapt to necessary phases of SDLC.
- Participate in Code reviews and provide and accept reviews.
- Develop, document, and maintain testing strategies, including manual and automated testing.
- Able to clearly document, user stories/use cases, functional specification and design.
- Interact with peer teams in other GEOs and with other teams present locally.
About You:
- Exposure to developing web-based applications.
- Familiarity in .Net: C#, ASP.Net, XML/XSL, Javascript, SQL Server.
- Exposure to writing SQL and SQL optimization for high-volume databases.
- Development experience in MVC and WebAPI.
- Must have the passion to work with technology and complex systems.
- The candidate should have good design skills and have good skills in Microsoft web development technologies.
