Roles and Responsibilities:
● Build and Develop platform for the EV, solution targeting the Infotainment/Cluster needs.
● Hands on development of the sub-systems.
● Work closely with other stakeholders to realize the complete platform solution.
● Evaluate various vendor platforms and solutions.
● Evaluate the trends in automotive infotainment solutions.
● Perform Code/Design Reviews to get the best solution implemented.
● Passion for joining a fast-paced, early-stage startup.
● Excellent communication skills in conversational and written English.
Experience & General Skills:
● 2-8 years of RUST hands on experience on the device end.
● Build systems knowledge, like Yocto, Buildroot, CMake and Makefiles.
● Familiarity with Linux development and runtime environment.
● Knowledge of design patterns and design principles.
● Ability to write robust, highly efficient, reliable code.
● Work experience with Rust and a solid foundation with C++ or Java
● Hands-on debugging experience with various tools (adb/gdb, valgrind, lauterbach, etc.)
● Agile software development experience is a must.
● Agile software development tools such as JIRA, Confluence etc.
● Code version control tools git-Gitlab, Github.
● Experience writing multi-threaded applications and IPC mechanisms.
Nice to have Skills:
● Hardware communication protocol knowledge (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, etc.) is an added
advantage.
● Knowledge of MQTT from device/Edge side, REST API, SQLite
● FOTA/OTA (Over The Air Update) client knowledge
● Automotive Functional Safety experience would be a plus.
