Independence. Founded in 2009 by Bipin Preet Singh and Upasana Taku, we commenced operations as a mobile wallet to make digital payments convenient for our users. Our use cases have since expanded to include bill payments, eCommerce shopping, food delivery, petrol pumps, large retail chains, pharmacies, Kirana stores, etc. Our platform also enables peer-to-peer payments via a unified payment interface (“UPI”), MobiKwik Wallet as well as MobiKwik Wallet to bank payments. Over the years we have amassed over 101 million Registered Users and more than 3 million e-commerce, physical retail, and biller partners.

In May 2019, we launched MobiKwik Zip, our flagship BNPL product, with a focus on the Indian

middle-class population to enable them to make payments for daily life use cases. MobiKwik Zip is

focused on providing this unserved Indian population their first experience of credit. We are a

technology-first company leveraging big data analytics and deep data science (including machine

learning)to continuously delight users and merchants on our platform. Our mission is to build a world-class payment and credit product for Bharat!

Years of experience: 1.5 – 3 years

Roles and Responsibilities :

You will be working closely with our product and design teams to customize the experience for the

Android platform

● Own end-to-end product modules/features individually (from the requirement to going live)

● Understanding of large and complex code bases, including API design techniques to help

keep them clean and maintainable.

● Expertise with Java, Kotlin, Data Structures, Android SDK, and common open-source

libraries and algorithms used in native application development.

● Strong understanding of Android architecture, Design patterns, MVVM, Live Data, Memory

Management, Client-Server Interaction, File I/O, Data Storage, DI, Custom UI elements,

Concurrency and Multithreading.

● Have published one or more applications in an Android marketplace.

● We are open to including new technologies where and when they make sense and always

strive to push the limits of the user experience. Individual Contribution -Collaborate with

tech and product to implement and build a new kind of mobile experience.

● Design and develop efficient reusable components.

● Identify and remedy performance bottlenecks.

● Identify and communicate best practices for Android development.

● Understand tradeoffs between design and performance.

● Open to adopt new technologies with time
