YOUR CHALLENGE

Work in an agile project environment according to Scrum framework
Be involved in the design of front-end solutions that will fit functional and non-functional requirements, project needs and operational constraints
Be involved in the development of technical improvements
Support the development and deployment capabilities
Take part in the improvement and the streamlining of our development and deployment capabilities
Work collaboratively with all teams
Follow-up of your delivery tasks
Collaborate with other Scrum, product and technology teams to get the best possible outcome for the bank and its customers
Participate in Level 3 production support including issue analysis, solution specification, incident resolution and testing
Take an active role in the Software Engineering communities in Julius Baer

Higher academic education (e.g. Master’s degree) in computer science, software engineering or related disciplines (graduation max. 12 months ago)
Initial experience in Java, OData and UXP is considered as a plus
Strong sense of responsibility and accountability
Strong problem solving and analytical skills and experience of troubleshooting
Knowledge on SQL / PL-SQL queries is considered as a plus
A first experience of Web Development, Java, NodeJS, React, Python, Spring is considered as a plus
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Team player who enjoys working with people on all levels and can also work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Very good written and verbal skills in English, any other language especially French and/or German will be considered as an advantage
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
