We are looking for an experienced HR professional who enjoys driving employee engagement and building organizational scalability in pursuit of the Tesla mission. The primary responsibility for this role is providing advice, guidance and support to a our factory in Tilburg. Operating as an HRBP, you will ensure that all HR policies and procedures are implemented in line with legislative and audit requirements in conjunction with requirements, however you will also ensure we do not do stupid corporate things! You will in collaboration with local management and key stakeholders and People COE’s (Recruitment, Operations, Compensation, Benefits, Legal, Employee Relations, People Development and learning etc.) ensure we bring in great talent; we grow and development key talent, proactively support performance improvements, growth of our people succession and growth of the teams and individuals.

What You’ll Do

  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders in market / function. 
  • Drive the local implementation of key initiatives in alignment with the broader HR / People strategy and business requirements. 
  • Coach, develop and support local supervisory/management on an ongoing basis – build local capability. 
  • Support market with performance acceleration and drive performance improvement initiatives and a culture of excellence. 
  • Facilitate group sessions regarding Tesla’s annual engagement survey and work with local management on action planning, ensure consistent follow-up and progress accountability. 
  • Proactively work with management / leadership to drive organizational effectiveness and structures. 
  • Work with leadership on building Culture (workforce sustainability, health, well-being). 
  • Advise on local labor law regulations and implication and guide / coach leaders through conflict handling and grievance (in collaboration with Employee Relations and Employment Counsel) 
  • Provide compensation support including salary planning, promotions, and job re-leveling in collaboration with compensation COE. 
  • Support in organizing and facilitating workshops for local stakeholders on any relevant/ required topics (from leadership to teaming to labor law, new process implementation etc.) 
  • Champion the HR/ People team; be an ambassador for the team on the ground and support in building our powerful brand and reputation 
  • Ensure close collaboration with HR Partners, Employee Advisors from within your market and from other geographies and business units to support best practice sharing; alignment in direction as needed, and creation of synergies 
  • Create strong partnerships with local recruitment, talent teams. 
  • Understand our business and how what you do helps it accelerate at rocket speeds. 
  • Coordinate complex projects as needed and meet tight deadlines. 
  • Ensure effective HR on-boarding program of local managers to ensure new hires are provided the appropriate information for a successful on-boarding of people managers at tesla.  
  • Provide support and/or participate as a project member on HR initiatives as assigned by Manager. 
  • Travels when required. 

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong generalist HR experience is essential for this role. 
  • Good working knowledge of local employment law and HR best practice. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken and able to develop positive working relationships across all levels and functions. 
  • Proven track record of positively influencing teams  
  • Ability to connect and engage with all teams at all levels and treat everyone as equal. 
  • Able and comfortable working in a developing, fluid and constantly changing company. 
  • Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload and meet deadlines. 
  • Fluency in Dutch is a big plus.
