About the role:
Key responsibilities of this role include but not limited to,
1) Design and build applications for the Web
2) Implement UI with clean and robust HTML/CSS and Javascript as needed to
support design vision
high-availability, and performant applications.
3) Developing using flexible and extensible UI modules integrated with Web API’s
and messaging (REST, JSON etc.). Experience with web services and API
integration
4) Precision in attention to details to ensure a clean and clear experience for users
5) Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
6) Collaborate with the team to define, design, and ship new features
7) Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
8) Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
Skills and Qualifications
1) Strong desire to make beautiful UX2) Backbone.js – mandatory experienceReact.js – Very strong plus
3) Strong in vanilla javascript and CSS
4) Knowledge of UI/UX standards
5) Knack for benchmarking and optimization
6) Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git)
7) Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools
8) Consider & conduct developer testing as an essential part of the development
process
9) Ideally has experience with JavaScript code quality tools like ESLint and testing
frameworks like Karma, Jasmine, Jest etc
10) Familiarity with development tools like Git, npm, webpack
11) Good communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate
complex issues to technical and non-technical audiences that include peers,
product owners and other stakeholders
Requirement
1) 5+ years of experience as a web developer.
Nice to have:
2) Experience with agile methodology
3) Experience with Progressive Web Application (PWA)
4) Experience with microservices
5) Bachelor Degree (not mandatory though)
