Software Engineer
The PowerStore product team has delivered a truly next-generation product to a rapidly changing world. This product delivers lightning-fast storage capabilities and cutting-edge data services to serve many markets including banking, game development, scientific R&D, agriculture, and so many more.
In this position, you will be part of a very strong global engineering team that is responsible for building the storage control plane functionality. Activities include design and implementation of highly parallel and distributed enterprise storage features, resolution of challenging technical issues and related research activities. This particular team’s expertise is in the Networking area in our product, we are searching for people who want to make a big contribution to product development and have the desire to learn and excel. You will be working with new and interesting technologies in a positive and dynamic environment where innovation is appreciated and rewarded.

What you’ll achieve
As a Software Engineer, you will be part of a highly experienced engineering team that is responsible for multiple infrastructure projects as well as for the design and maintenance of development tools used by our global engineering team
You will:
• Grow your capabilities as an engineer through hands on learning along with mentoring by senior engineers
• Design, develop and maintain Python code on Linux platforms
• Participate in architectural discussions and design reviews
• Work closely with other development teams, QA, and customer support

Essential Requirements
- Good knowledge of python & bash
- Experience with git & networking concepts
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with Linux internals and operating system concepts
- 1-3 years of related experience
Desirable Requirements
• Object orientated programming
• Technical “hands on” experience with server hardware and networking
