NVIDIA is seeking an outstanding Software Engineer to become a member of the GFN team developing and supporting our GeForce NOW gaming solution. As a team member, you will be involved in adding content as well as develop and enhance our content management subsystem.
Join with the team in making top games and other content available to our customers on the GeForce NOW service!
What you’ll be doing:
- As part of the Content Onboarding & Ops Team, you will not only support, but also help build, the next generations of the vital systems which are responsible for the onboarding, preparation, and distribution of our partner’s games.
- You should enjoy solving problems, as we are working with numerous gaming platforms that often change without notice. Your skills and experience in getting to the root of issues will be used to their full extent.
- Combine your knowledge of development, testing, and operations, to support a highly-available and fault-tolerant system.
What we need to see:
- You must have strong technical skills, data driven mentality, great social skills, and a motivation to achieve results in an exciting environment.
- An understanding of game software development and basic game engine principles would be huge, as well as a handle on virtualization.
- M.Tech/ME in Computer Science/Electronics Engineering/Information Technology from a reputed institute
- 2-3 years of software engineering experience, C++ & Python coding and Windows OS fundamentals
- Python / Java scripting & automation
- Knowledge of basic game development principles, game engines and graphics development
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- A love for developing or playing games – primarily on Windows. Even more, knowing what makes a game look and play great on various systems. Experience with DLCs, mods, and various platforms.
- A keen eye for writing documentation for software solutions and operational processes.
- Knowledge of GPU technologies and the gaming ecosystem is great! Understanding of 3D graphic technology, game settings and game performance puts you over the top.
- Helps to have programming skills in C++, Lua
- Experience with virtual environment, setup or usage
- Linux, MacOSX exposure
